A leading aerospace company in Mexicali is seeking a Tooling Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience, focusing on design and CNC programming. Responsibilities include handling tooling tasks, coordinating with teams, and ensuring quality standards. Advanced English skills are required. Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience in tooling engineering.
• Possess basic knowledge in design and CNC programming with a focus on low complexity tasks.
• Knowledge in sheetmetal tool design and NC programming required.

• Coordinate tasks within the assigned SBU and improve administrative controls.
• Support corrective actions to solve quality problems in tooling.

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the process.

Job Description:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Possess basic knowledge in Design and CNC Programming to complete tasks related to new tools and repairs of low complexity.
• Adapt to continuous improvement as part of daily performance.
• Participate in projects and suggest improvements.
• Handle low complexity tasks.
• Coordinate some tasks within the assigned SBU, focusing on priorities like administrative controls and low complexity of designs and CNC Programming.
• Follow up on SAP Work Orders, control TMS’s, and provide feedback to clients regarding discrepancies in tooling requirements.
• Support and suggest corrective actions to resolve external quality problems.
• Have knowledge in Sheetmetal Tool Design, 2.5-axis and 3-axis NC Programming in Catia platform.
• Interpret drawings, implement corrective actions, and utilize MS Office.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• Advanced English proficiency.
