Gulfstream Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking a Tooling Engineer to support tooling design and CNC programming activities on site. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and about 2 years of hands-on experience to perform essential functions.

You'll work with Catia for 2.5 and 3-axis NC programming, interpret drawings, and participate in continuous improvement projects while coordinating with SAP Work Orders and other internal teams. Advanced English is required to communicate with global partners.

• Experience in Sheetmetal Tool Design and Catia NC programming.
• Advanced English language required.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

• Low level of knowledge in Design and CNC Programming to complete tasks of New Tools and repairs of low complexity .
• Adapting to continuous improvement as part of the daily performance .
• Participate in projects and suggest improvements .
• Low complexity tasks .
• Coordinates some tasks in assigned SBU working on priorities like administrative controls and low complexity of designs and CNC Programming .
• Take responsibility to follow up SAP Work Orders, control of TMS’s and bring feedback to clients if there is discrepancies on the Tooling requirements .
• Support and suggest corrective actions to solve quality external problems .
• Knowledge in Sheetmetal Tool Design, 2.5 axis and 3 axis NC Programming in Catia platform .
• Experience in drawings interpretation, corrective actions, MS Office.

Perform other duties as assigned.
