Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Mexicali is seeking a Section Leader for tooling to design tools, coordinate NC programs, and drive process improvements. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in tooling and manufacturing engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7 years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Design tools based on Gulfstream Tool Design Manual.
• Support manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards.
• Work in a team environment on improvements and projects.
• Lead high-complexity tasks and projects.
• Coordinate execution of tool designs, NC programs, material procurement, fabrication & inspection as needed.
• Train others in critical tasks to achieve internal/external goals.
• Select and design new technologies for assembly/drill fixtures.
