Emerson is seeking a seasoned Tool Room/Tool Crib Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensuring the timely availability of tools, fixtures, and equipment to support production schedules. You will manage inventories, coordinate tooling procurement, and drive cost reduction initiatives while mentoring a skilled team.

Responsibilities include overseeing tool assembly and presetting for CNC centers, maintaining tooling life data, and implementing continuous improvement methodologies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years managing Tool Room or Tool Crib operations.
• Strong knowledge of CNC tooling, tool life management, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English in advanced conversations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily Tool Room/Tool Crib operations and staff development.
• Ensure tools, fixtures, and equipment are available for production schedules.
• Manage inventories and set min/max levels for tooling items.
• Coordinate tooling procurement and supplier negotiations.
• Supervise tooling assembly, presetting, and preparation for CNC centers.
• Monitor tool life with tooling management systems and analytics.
• Lead cost reduction and productivity initiatives in tooling.
• Develop tooling databases, parameters, and specifications.
• Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and repair of tooling and equipment.
• Ensure proper identification, storage, traceability, and handling of tooling assets.
• Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance groups.
