Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mathematical proficiency including statistics, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to problems.
• Experience reading business, technical, and governmental documents is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, guide, motivate, and evaluate tool and die makers, machinists, and qualified apprentices.
• Interpret complex design drawings and sketches to determine manufacturing procedures.
• Oversee safe operation of workshop machinery including mills, lathes, grinders, saws, and EDM equipment.
• Monitor and record production and time data daily and weekly.
• Maintain 5S standards in the tool shop.
