• 5+ años de experiencia como Administrador o Consultor SAP Basis.
• Conocimientos sólidos en SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, y tecnologías relacionadas.

Job Description: SAP Basis Consultant

Position Summary

An SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of SAP systems. They ensure the smooth operation of SAP applications, databases, and underlying infrastructure, collaborating with functional and technical teams to support business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ERP, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune system performance, including memory management, workload balancing, and troubleshooting.
• Upgrades & Migrations: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and patch management.
• User Management & Security: Manage roles, authorizations, and access controls to ensure secure system usage.
• Database Administration: Maintain SAP databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), including backup and recovery strategies.
• Transport Management: Handle SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for efficient change deployment.
• Integration & Connectivity: Ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Use SAP Solution Manager and other tools to detect and resolve issues proactively.
• Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Support SAP environments on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or Consultant.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, ECC, and related technologies.
• Expertise in databases such as SAP HANA, Oracle, or MS SQL.
• Experience with OS platforms (Linux, Unix, Windows).
• Familiarity with SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT), SAP Fiori, and Web Dispatcher.
• Understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Certifications (Optional But Beneficial)

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Basis Administration
• SAP HANA Technology Certification
• ITIL Foundation Certification
