Job summary

Continental Group Sector ContiTech in Mexico seeks a Textile Development Engineer to lead regional textile development projects, especially knitted textiles and PUR foams. You will work with San Luis Potosi and Winchester teams to drive technical excellence.

You will act as a technical expert, advancing state-of-the-art knowledge and consulting project teams, peers and customers on innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in textile engineering or related field with knitted textile knowledge and PUR foam exposure.
• Over 1 year of technical industry experience.
• Proven local project management experience.
• Moderate English skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex textile development projects for the region (San Luis Potosi and Winchester).
• Act as a technical expert and advance state-of-the-art knowledge within the development team.
• Consult project teams, peers and customers on new ideas and innovations.

Job Description

This position as Textile Development Engineer comprises great knowledge in textiles (circular knit, non-woven, woven, etc.) and PUR foams for the region, making a strong know-how and service to both plants San Luis Potosi and WInchester, USA.

The function is responsible for successful completion of complex development projects and incorporates the role of a technical expert. With this it strongly contributes to state of the art knowledge in the development team.

As advanced technical specialist the Textile Development Engineer works on novel ideas & innovations and consults project teams, peers and customers.

Qualifications

• Master / Bachelor in Textile Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related degrees with basic knitted textile knowledge and desired in PUR foams.
• > 1 year of technical experience in industry
• Proven management experience in local projects
• Medium English skills.
