Job summary

Continental is seeking an entry-level Lean Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering professional to identify productivity losses on the shop floor and drive improvement projects in San Luis Potosí. You will conduct time studies, support 5S/Kaizen activities, and analyze data to sustain gains with cross-functional teams.

Recent graduates are welcome; basic Excel and Power BI knowledge are advantageous as you collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure safe, compliant

Qualifications

• Degree or technical diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Automation, or related field.
• Recent graduates welcome; manufacturing internship or prior experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify productivity losses and improvement opportunities on the shop floor.
• Conduct time studies, cycle-time measurements, and process performance analysis.
• Support Lean Manufacturing activities, including 5S, Kaizen, waste elimination, and standard work.
• Execute and track PPI initiatives, action plans, and implementation timelines.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data, including productivity, OEE, scrap, and downtime.
• Document improvement results and support savings validation with process owners and Finance.
• Maintain performance reports, dashboards, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics.
• Verify that implemented improvements are sustained and comply with safety and quality requirements.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.

Analytical thinking, proactive attitude, teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
