Collins in Mexicali, MX is seeking a Test Equipment Coordinator to manage calibration activities and keep precise equipment records. The role interfaces with internal teams and external service providers to ensure equipment availability and compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an engineering/technical degree, have intermediate English, and be proficient with MS Office for tracking and reporting calibration status.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate calibration activities for measurement & test equipment, scheduling and tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of calibration status and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to meet deadlines.
• Support tracking and control of test equipment for production and testing needs.
• Review calibration docs and follow up on due or overdue items.
• Assist with compliance to internal procedures and applicable standards.
• Coordinate equipment needs for repairs and troubleshooting with technical teams.
• Occasionally travel to the U.S. for training or business needs.

As a Test Equipment Coordinator, you will coordinate and support Test Equipment activities, including calibration management, equipment tracking, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and service providers to ensure test equipment is available, properly calibrated, and compliant with applicable requirements.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate calibration activities for Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE), including scheduling, follow-up, and status tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of test equipment, calibration status, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure calibration activities are completed on time.
• Support the tracking and control of test equipment to help ensure availability for production and testing activities.
• Review calibration documentation and follow up on equipment that is due, overdue, or requires additional action.
• Support compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable accreditation standards.
• Support Test Station Repair and Troubleshooting activities by coordinating equipment needs and follow-up with the appropriate technical teams.
• Occasionally travel to the U.S. as required for training, support, or business needs.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Technical Degree, Engineering Degree, or currently studying Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Intermediate English (60%) with the ability to read and understand technical documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, for tracking and reporting information.
