A leading technology company in Mexico City seeks a Test Engineer to develop test strategies and ensure product compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and over four years of experience. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams and coaching team members. Descripción del empleo

• Derive Test strategy for Hitech & Fixed Portfolio products.

• Test Planning, Identify Technical risks/mitigationplan in early phase of the program.

• Identify opportunities for adopt/develop automation & Simulation to improve Quality and reduce test cycle time.

• Closely work with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory and other functional teams to define Robust test plans

• On –time delivery of tested products to meet agreed quality criteria.

• Understand and develop use case scenarios on test strategy & Execution.

• Responsible for carrying out different kinds of testing like Performance, Functional, Installation, Compatibility, Usability, Regulatory, etc.

• Should be responsible for defining, reviewing requirements and ability to suggest product enhancement.

• Responsible for skill development of team, Coaching Mentoring team members.

• Working with all global and local stakeholders to drive flawless execution.

• Proficient in developing automation using LabVIEW/Python Scripts

• Understanding various global certification standards, especially ATEX, IEC, UL, RoHS, EMI/EMC, etc).

• Experienced in building lab capabilities to meet business needs

• Participation in Architecture and Design Reviews along with Technical Leads.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication/Electronics and Electrical from Reputed institutes.

• Relevant years of +4 years of work experience are required in the above-mentioned competencies

• Hands on experience with Micro Processor based systems, Analog & Digital system design, Power Supply Design and Interfacing with Sensors.

• Knowledge circuits design.

• Experience in end-to-end qualification testing for compliance and solving EMI issues to meet the required standards. In-depth knowledge of standards such as IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-1 etc

• Minimum two complete product development life cycle experience (initiation, POC, design validation, launch and post release maintenance).

• Ability to statistically analyze data with software tools like MS Excel/MATLAB/Minitab

WE VALUE

• Good understanding of gas detection products.

• Ability to develop embedded programs in C-language

• Knowledge of six sigma principles in product design & development.

• Prefer working experience with analog Sensor signal conditioning circuits with micro-Controllers / Processor integration

• IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 standard awareness for Product design like PFD / HFT… etc.

• ATEX/ Flame Proof design

• Intrinsic safety (IS) protection technique for safe operation of electrical equipment for Hazards Environment
