Overview

Job Summary: We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Engineering Manager with extensive experience leading end-of-line (EOL) testing for complex air and liquid thermal handling equipment. Proven expertise in developing comprehensive test strategies, driving automation with advanced DAQ systems, and fostering technical excellence within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Adept at leveraging data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to enhance product quality, improve manufacturing yields (FTT/FTY), and support large-scale continuous improvement initiatives. We can hire in Nove Mesto, Ironton, OH, Monterrey or Reynosa, MX.

Responsibilities
  • Support a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of Test, Mechanical, and Thermal Engineers, creating a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Directed the complete end-of-line (EOL) testing lifecycle for complex air and liquid thermal systems, from initial strategy and test method development to final data analysis and executive reporting.
  • Established and enforced standardized testing protocols and quality benchmarks across multiple production lines, significantly improving the accuracy, repeatability, and integrity of all test results.
  • Analyzed critical test data to identify production anomalies and performance trends, reporting key metrics (KPIs, First Time Through, First Time Yield) to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Championed the adoption of advanced automation, guiding the development of robust Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems (LabView, etc.) to increase testing efficiency and validate CFD analyses.
  • Acted as the key technical liaison between plant-based EOL teams, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), Design, and Quality departments to resolve complex production issues.
  • Integrated product feedback from EOL testing into the design cycle, directly contributing to measurable improvements in unit performance and manufacturing efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assumes responsibility to meet the requirements for completion date, cost, performance, reliability and quality of projects
  • Travel up to 20% globally to meet with and support global development projects
Interactions

Works with engineers, managers and directors in application engineering, design engineering, marketing and eCommerce. This position may also interface with Marketing Service, Product Managers & Strategic Marketing, Sales, Customers, Customer Service Group, and other users as required by the specific project.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • 2 years experience in system modeling
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong background on fluid mechanics, heat transfer, refrigeration and thermodynamics
  • Experience with refrigerant to air or other fluid heat exchangers (fin and tube and micro-channel), HVAC system modeling
  • Good understanding of DOE and AHRI requirements
  • Strong team effort mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly
  • Experience and knowledge of heat exchangers (fin and tube, micro-channel, shell and tube, co-axial and brazed plate)
  • Experience and knowledge of validating HVAC computer models against test data
  • Experience and or proven aptitude with LabView and CFD software platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, et al) as well as Internet software and E-mail
