Responsibilities

What’s in it for you?

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you are going to be part of a growing team in Mexico, implementing quality solutions on team-based projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, implementation, and execution of automated testing solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our testing processes and contribute to the overall success of our software development lifecycle. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• General Coding and development: Experienced in Java language, knows the major frameworks and libraries for these languages, Design pattern basic understanding.
• Applying Quality Assurance best practices.
• Testing RESTful APIs using Postman, SoapUI.
• Implements new tools and frameworks to support application testing / development.
• Selenium Experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing quality solutions on team-based projects.
• Programming language expertise in Java and Angular. (FE+BE Testing)
• Writing automation, performance, integration, and end to end tests.
• Testing across diverse types of applications: backend, frontend, web, and mobile
• Identifying performance issues with applications and troubleshooting performance problems in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines. (Azure is Preferred)
• Strong English Communications skills (spoken & written).

Nice to Have:

• Certifications: ISTQB Test Automation Engineering Certification; IST Certified Software Test Automation Specialist (CSTAS) Certification
• Gherkin/ Cucumber Syntax knowledge.
• .NET Experience
