Stanley Black & Decker Monterrey on-site team is seeking a Test Design Engineer to develop power tool test fixtures and automation systems. You will focus on electrical and electronic design, PLC and LabVIEW programming, and robot interfacing.

Responsibilities include leading the Rig & Fixture Team, calibrations, troubleshooting, and supporting new product development. A college degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering is required, with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Formación

• 1–2 years minimum working experience in electrical & mechanical automation equipment operation or maintenance/repairing.
• Strong background in PLC programming, LabVIEW programming and electrical or electronic design.
• Ability to use standard electrical and mechanical measuring instruments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop advanced electric-mechanical test fixtures/equipment for various power tool testing, focusing on Electrical and Electronic development, HMI and PLC programming.
• Design the control system for robot, focus on PLC and robot interface design and programming.
• Lead Rig & Fixture Team and coordinate advanced test fixture systems.
• Support new product development & development to value projects and document procedures in the technical database.
