Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Mexico seeks a Lead Rig & Fixture professional to develop test fixtures and equipment for power tools.

You will design robotics interfaces, program PLCs and LabVIEW, troubleshoot test systems, calibrate equipment, and maintain documentation and procedures for reliability labs. The role requires a 1–2 year background in electrical/mechanical automation, strong communication, and a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Formación

• 1-2 years minimum experience in electrical & mechanical automation equipment operation or maintenance/repair.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Strong background in PLC programming, LabVIEW programming, electrical or electronic design.
• Good communication skills.
• College degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Ability to use standard electrical and mechanical measuring instruments.
• Ability to work with verbal directions and written procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Rig & Fixture Team.
• Communicate technical topics/projects on a global basis.
• Adapt to changing departmental priorities.
• Develop power tool test fixtures/equipment.
• Provide test support to new product development/ value projects.
• Design control system for robot; focus on PLC and robot interface design.
• Troubleshoot and maintain FSTC reliability test equipment.
• Execute routine calibration for FSTC equipment/meters.
• Prepare and modify documents for the Test Systems Group and Main Test Lab.
• Write and upgrade technical procedures in the intranet.
• Use Windchill, BOM and drawing interpretation.
• Maintain metrics for security, quality, delivery, cost and production.
