Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks an individual contributor in Telecom Engineering to read and interpret customer orders and process drawings for production.

You will use 2D and 3D modeling to prepare manufacturing plans, interface with other departments, and support design and order activities with limited customer contact. The role reports to the Site Drafting Supervisor, travels occasionally to the US, and requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or similar, plus strong CAD skills and

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Architecture or similar.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Hybrid schedule possible; first 6 months in office 5 days per week.
• CAD experience and basic math knowledge (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry).
• Experience with 3D modeling and reading manufacturing drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret customer order information and prepare drawings per specifications.
• Use 2D/3D modeling to create drawings for customers and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve design or process issues.
• Maintain accurate drawings, schedules and documentation.
• Travel occasionally to the US as required.
