Siemens is seeking a Product Engineer for the Drummondville plant (Switchboards) to ensure designs and manufacturing meet customer requirements using 3D CAD software. You will review BOMs, design for manufacturing, and release jobs to the plant with clean, manufacturable drawings.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, at least 6 months of internship experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo or Inventor, plus strong English and teamwork.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 months of experience in similar positions (internship acceptable).
• AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor or equivalent software knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and strong problem solving ability.
• Able to work in a team with a collaborative mindset and strong priority management.
• Advanced English and proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the product designed and manufactured according to customer requirements and drawings.
• Guarantee performance of the product meeting BOM and design standards.
• Oversee switchboard design and manufacturing at the Drummondville site.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable using appropriate 3D CAD software.
• Make sure job releases to the plant are clean; update BOM where needed.
• Review incoming orders to verify information for processing.
• Prepare drawings, create parts, and manipulate BOMs per CSA standards.
