SSOE Group is seeking a Junior Electrical Designer – Telecommunications to join our Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit. You will transform engineering concepts and senior markups into telecom design deliverables using AutoCAD and Revit, under mentorship.

The role focuses on structured cabling, pathways, and BIM-based design practices for cutting‑edge facilities. Ideal candidates have a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and basic experience with electrical building

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• Desirable engineering bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related).
• 6 months to 3 years or more experience as an electrical designer.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage building systems (facilities).
• Familiarity with electrical, building, and telecommunications codes or standards; willingness to develop knowledge.
• Ability to interpret and apply engineering markups, sketches, plans, specs.
• AutoCAD prior experience.
• Advanced English proficiency; reports to the US.

Responsabilidades

• Work on markups using AutoCAD / Revit to develop, revise, and coordinate telecom design documents.
• Apply design fundamentals to telecom infrastructure, pathways, and space layouts.
• Perform routine design tasks under supervision of senior designers/engineers.
• Assist with telecom design deliverables, including floor plans, cable tray layouts, and equipment room details.
• Compile data from own and others' designs to support project requirements.
• Coordinate telecom systems with electrical, architectural, mechanical, and structural teams.
• Incorporate design comments and revisions accurately and promptly.
• Review work for completeness and alignment with project standards before submission.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable codes and design practices with senior support.
• Identify and help solve routine design problems; seek assistance when needed.
• Maintain organized project files and support documentation and quality control.
