Role of the Specialized Engineering Technician:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s electromechanical systems, with technical knowledge in HVAC, industrial laundry equipment, commercial kitchens, and electrical/mechanical systems. Ensuring all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and according to hotel standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Repair and maintain industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, presses, etc.).
• Support industrial kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, fryers, dishwashers, and exhaust hoods.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical and mechanical installations for proper operation.
• Respond promptly to corrective maintenance reports, minimizing operational disruptions.
• Follow safety, occupational health, and environmental protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and material usage.
• Assist in implementing improvement projects, renovations, or new installations.
• Coordinate with other technicians and departments to resolve technical issues.

Requirements for the role:

• Technical training in electromechanics, refrigeration, electrical, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience in hotels, hospitals, shopping centers, or similar operations.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electromechanics, laundry, and industrial kitchen equipment.
• Desirable skills include diagnostic tools, reading plans, and electrical schematics.
• Basic knowledge of control systems and automation (preferred).
• Ability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proactive, responsible attitude, problem-solving orientation.
