Position: Técnico de Servicio de Campo I - Querétaro

Location: Querétaro

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory to ensure operational continuity and high customer satisfaction.
  2. Work outside the assigned area as needed for projects, coverage, and demand peaks.
  3. Own customer issues until resolved satisfactorily, complying with SLA agreements.
  4. Diagnose, repair, and replace components on supported equipment, including POS systems, self-service kiosks, servers, portable terminals, and peripherals.
  5. Install new or upgrade existing equipment per the Statement of Work (SOW).
  6. Assist in site preparation, including cabling, equipment setup, and testing; perform modular exchanges and unit replacements as needed.
  7. Undergo required training and certification, which may include working at heights and using power tools.
  8. Address customer concerns, resolving or escalating issues as appropriate.
  9. Build relationships with clients and develop informal communication channels at the local level.
  10. Represent NCR VOYIX positively, reflecting the company's image and reputation.
  11. Perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements.
  12. Manage all assets used in service delivery, including tools, software, vehicles, and documentation.
  13. Maintain adequate inventory and record-keeping of parts.
  14. Provide accurate and timely reports of calls, activities, and expenses.
  15. Record detailed asset and billing information.
  16. Be dispatched daily based on calls or manage own schedule to meet SLA requirements.
  17. Travel as needed, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
  18. Participate in shift patterns, including weekends and nights, as required to support 24/7 customer support and deployment projects.
  19. Achieve KPIs to ensure high customer satisfaction, quality, cost control, and safety.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Basic computer skills, including Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in hardware maintenance and support, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude; experience with PC hardware, networking, and peripherals.
  • High integrity, teamwork orientation, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or certifications in a technical field.
  • Previous NCR or similar equipment experience.
  • Recognized qualification in electronics or IT.
  • Experience in EPOS maintenance or installation; strong desktop hardware background if limited EPOS experience.
