Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Site Security Officer for our Apodaca, NL, Mexico location. You will support site security, oversee access control, monitor CCTV and alarms, and coordinate with leadership and external consultants. Travel is possible and may be less than 10%.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in security, CPR/AED/First Aid, and strong leadership. Pre-employment checks are required and you will report to the Site Security Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• 2+ years of related security or law enforcement experience.
• C-TPAT and regulatory compliance experience is a plus.
• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Physical fitness and aptitude for defensive skills is desirable.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Training is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to resolve issues.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and motor vehicle checks.
• Must pass state-required training or licensing qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Security & Safety services for the site and its people.
• Champion C-TPAT and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage 3rd party vendor security services.
• Direct visitors and control access at security posts.
• Monitor CCTV, security and fire systems; patrol facility areas.
• Document security and safety incidents; act as First Responder.
• Implement physical security improvements as required.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

As a CSSS Site Security Officer, you’ll be part of our team located in Apodaca, NL, MEX. You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks supporting the Site Security. This position reports to the Site Security Manager and will work closely with site leadership, Asset Protection professionals, local law enforcement and outside consultants, as required. Schedule may be modified at times based on security coverage needs. There may be travel required – less than 10%.

Your Primary Focus Will Be:

• Security & Safety Services of the site
• C-TPAT Champion
• Manage the 3rd party vendor security services.
• Directing visitors and controlling access at all Security Posts.
• Monitoring CCTV, security and fire suppression systems.
• Patrolling and securing areas inside and outside the facility.
• Documenting security and safety related incidents.
• First Responder to a Crisis Situation. Provide First Aid / CPR / AED.
• Implementing physical security improvements.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

• High School Degree or higher.
• 2 years or more related security/law enforcement experience.
• C-TPAT and/or Regulatory Compliance experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Physical fitness is essential and proficiency in a martial art and / or other defensive skill is desirable.
• CPR / AED / First Aid Training.
• Strong leadership skills including effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating others, collaborative, team player, ability to deal with obstacles and partner with senior management to identify / solve problems.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, drug screen is required.
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
