Jabil is seeking a manufacturing support leader to drive lean initiatives and ensure adherence to procedures, quality, and efficiency in prototype and mass production. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and cost reduction through technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience in a related field, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong project management and data analysis skills to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred.
• 3–5 years total work experience in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Windows and standard PC software; knowledge of Jabil’s software packages is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze cycle times of operations to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Seek technical solutions to reduce standard costs and improve efficiency.
• Provide technical support to production teams and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing deployment and improvement projects.
• Participate in selecting new equipment and facilities; manage corrective actions.

Job Summary

Provides leadership in the technical support to the manufacturing organization to ensure adherence to assembly procedures, on-going quality and efficiency, success of new product introductions and prototype production.

• Analyze the cycle times of the different operations.
• Look for technical solutions that reduce standard costs.
• Provide technical support to production collaborators.
• Ensure collaboration between the different departments.
• Support the deployment of the Lean Manufacturing approach.
• Participate in the choice of new equipment and facilities.
• Set up and follow corrective actions.
• Establish project progress reports with earnings calculation in collaboration with accounting.
• Be the NC process expert for the department (SME NC process): coordinate and support the resolution of the NC, participate in the improvement of the NC process and, if necessary, escalated to the management any risk of drift compared to the NC process.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.Read and understand visual aid.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Plus 3 to 5 years total work experience in a relevant field.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Regular business hours.Some additional hours may be required.
• Travel requirements:Domestic and/or Global, up to 25%
• Climate controlled office environment during normal business hours.
