Job summary

Flex is hiring for a Production Engineering role in Tequesquitlán. The engineer will set up processing equipment, monitor line performance, run tests, and prepare data representations for engineering review.

The position provides technical guidance to operators and collaborates with process development and工程 teams to optimize yield and reliability. Responsibilities include line-change configuration, corrective maintenance, and adherence to escalation procedures while maintaining safe operations

Processes test runs and prepares records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. Line change configuration. Performs corrective maintenance. Follows escalation procedures.

Education / Experience

Typically requires an Associate’s Degree in related field, technical training or equivalent education and training. Successful completion of company provided training may be required. Typically requires 4-6 years of related experience.

As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways.

Scope / Impact

Assists in developing goals/targets of line or department. Moderate impact. May have influence on multiple programs or areas.

Decision Making / Discretion

Determines quality/testing methods/ procedures on new assignments. Decisions may affect department/ function.

Supervision / Leadership

Determine methods and procedures on new assignments. May provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
