Formación

Job Description:

Applies developing knowledge of Quality Control requirements to execute tasks and support organizational objectives. Performs and tracks sample receipt, management of reagents and supplies, and general housekeeping. Tests samples of finished goods under limited supervision. Participates in implementation of risk mitigations and continuous improvement projects with limited supervision. Follows formal escalation processes to ensure visibility of risks associated with product quality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems. Uses data to identify risks and improvement opportunities, and implements risk mitigations and process improvements with limited support. Assists other team members in executing tasks that are both routine and complex. Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo in day-to-day interactions with team.

We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR QUALITY TECHNICIAN to be in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
PURPOSE:

Quality Engineering Technician and customer complaints.

Analysis of customer complaints, elaboration of reports and support to quality engineers. Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

RESPONSABILITIES:

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all federal, state and local laws/regulations and Johnson & Johnson Corporate procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Enabled to train associates and coworkers in areas such as manufacturing processes, systems applications, measuring equipment, customer complaints and others, when required.
  • Performs verifications for finished activities as consequence of non-conformities.
  • May perform product release activities.
  • Aids and executes investigation for non-conformities, audit observations, CAPAs and others.
  • Customer complaint analysis.
  • Performs data collection and analysis, generates and distributes reports for quality metrics, initiatives and/or measurable of the plant.
  • Maintains consumables inventories applicable to the department (stationary, etc.).
  • Maintenance of quality records according to the Records Retention Schedule.
  • Updates and provides information such as quality records of the quality systems of the plant.
  • Can be a database administrator of the department.
  • Participates in the development of quality systems and processes.
  • Aids the quality engineers by providing support to the production lines.
  • Acts as a coordinator when there are quality issues.
  • Provides support to the quality engineers in the maintenance of quality system documents.
  • Complies with Quality procedures, Laws and regulations of the applicable markets.
  • Complies with Company regulations, local, state and federal, as well as with safety and hygiene, health and environment procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.
EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School, ongoing or truncated career, or experience in a similar position.
  • Bilingual: English / Spanish, preferably.
  • Knowledge of QSR / ISO, preferably.
  • Basic computer knowledge: MS Office word processors, data sheets, presentations, data bases, etc. Required.
  • Knowledge of quality engineering tools, such as: measuring systems analysis, basic statistical analysis, and others. Required.
  • ASQ Improvement Associate / Quality Auditor certifications, desirable. Process Excellence Green Belt certification, desirable.
  • High School Diploma and/or technical career. Desirable, 50% of college career and related work experience. Quality Improvement Associate or Quality Auditor Certification, preferably. Manages to have a conversation in English related to his/her responsibilities with an efficiency of 75%.
