Cummins Inc. on-site quality inspector role on the Ciénega de Flores production line seeks to verify product quality against specifications and document variances. The position involves basic measurement tasks, defect identification, and adherence to company quality norms.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with verification of the final quality of products on the production line.
• Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
• Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic measurement techniques and equipment.
• Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems.
• Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the company.
• Ensure product release and stop production if outside the plan.
• Implement and track required containment actions for quality problems and issue quality alerts.

Job Summary:

Ensures products received or produced meet technical specifications. Works under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assists with verification of the final quality of products on the production line. Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic measurement techniques and equipment. Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems. Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the company.

Asegurar la liberación del producto y/o detener la continuidad de producción fuera del plan de control

Implementar y dar seguimiento a las contenciones requeridas ante un problema de calidad y generar alerta de calidad ademas de difundirla.

Verificar que la información técnica este actualizada para cumplir con el sistema de calidad

Mantener información actualizada del material no conforme y asegurar la no utilización

Cumplir con los reglamentos de seguridad, medio ambiente y procesos de mejora
