Cummins Inc. is seeking a shop-based Quality role focused on ensuring products meet technical specs. You will assist with final quality verification, document deviations, and help maintain compliance with company quality standards. This position is on-site with standard production oversight.

Minimal or no prior experience is required; the role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with quality verification or inspection is a plus.
• Familiarity with measurement techniques and quality systems is desirable.

Responsabilidades

Ensures products received or produced meet technical specifications. Works under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Assists with verification of the final quality of products on the production line. Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic measurement techniques and equipment. Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems. Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the company.

Implementar y dar seguimiento a las contenciones requeridas ante un problema de calidad y generar alerta de calidad ademas de difundirla.

Verificar que la información técnica este actualizada para cumplir con el sistema de calidad

Mantener información actualizada del material no conforme y asegurar la no utilización

Education, Licenses, Certifications
