A leading cultural heritage institution is seeking a technician for a part-time position coordinating research in the Virtual Museum project. Offer Description

The technician will coordinate research activities for the Virtual Museum project of the PATRIM 4.0 initiative.

Responsibilities include designing exhibition areas, preparing texts, conducting documentary research (photos, videos, interviews), and supporting other project elements such as training courses on intangible heritage and scientific conferences.

Gross salary per year : €10,897.05.

The application period is from June 3 to June 17, 2025.

Tasks

  • Research for the Virtual Museum project of PATRIM+.
  • Design of exhibition areas and text preparation.
  • Documentary research of photographs, videos, and interviews.
  • Support for training courses on intangible heritage and scientific conference preparation.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Anthropology.
  • Level C1 in Catalan and B2 in French.
  • Experience in ethnographic research in cultural heritage, especially intangible heritage.
  • Ability to conduct interviews, observations, and documentary research.
  • Capacity to manage the virtual museum exhibition project.

Preferred Merits

  • Research experience in cultural heritage, museology, or intangible heritage.
  • Research experience in the Pyrenees.
  • Master's or Doctorate in cultural heritage (intangible or museology).
  • Basic knowledge of Occitan.

Languages

  • French : Good

Additional Information

The selection process involves an interview, scored from 0 to 10, with a minimum passing score of 5. The interview assesses suitability, experience, skills, communication, and motivation. The process will likely be conducted online.

The employment duration is 10 months, ending by 01 / 06 / 2026. Candidates must accept the offer within 5 working days of notification.
