Jobtailor in Tepotzotlán, Estado de México, Mexico, is seeking an on-site Diesel/Gasoline Mechanic. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect vehicles, and support workshop tasks to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a related role and knowledge of Scania products, DOS, DCS, and SRS. On-site work and safety compliance are essential to success.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year in a similar role.
• Experience with diesel and/or gasoline engines.
• Knowledge of Scania products and services is preferred.
• Familiarity with DOS, DCS, SRS, and SHE standards.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on vehicles.
• Assist technicians with maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Ensure correct stamping of work performed and document completed tasks.

• Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks while developing skills for more complex maintenance and repairs.
• Comply with all safety standards in the workshop.
• Support technicians with vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee correct stamping of work performed.
• Communicate completed work to ensure process flow.
• Implement improvement proposals.
• Check availability of tools, parts, and maintenance information.
• Retrieve tools and parts from the warehouse.
• Apply work methods and perform visual vehicle inspections.
• Manage deviations and communicate them.
• Wash parts and components.
• Start and finalize work orders.
• Prepare vehicles or components.
• Search for information in the system.
• Perform maintenance and finalize stamping.
• Clean the work area and return used tools.
• Communicate completion of assignments to the workshop manager.
• Propose solutions and follow up on improvement plans.

Requirements

• High school, preparatory or technical degree completed.
• One year in a similar position.
• Diesel and/or gasoline mechanics.
• Knowledge of Scania products and services.
• Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards.
• Ability to work on-site in Tepotzotlan, Estado de México, Mexico.
