Scania in Mexico is seeking a technically inclined individual to support vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring safety standards and proper work stamping. You will learn and apply Scania procedures, communicating completion of tasks and proposing improvements in a fast-paced workshop environment.

The role requires at least one year in a similar position and knowledge of Scania products and services, as well as DOS, DCS, SRS and SHE standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks, while learning the profession and developing skills to achieve more complex maintenance and repairs, complying with all safety standards in the workshop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee the correct stamping of the work being performed.
• Ensure process flow by communicating that the work has been finished.
• Achieve the implementation of improvement proposals

TASKS

• Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse.
• Check availability of maintenance information.
• Ensure application of work methods.
• Perform visual inspections of the vehicle.
• Manage any deviations that arise.
• Wash parts and components.
• Start the work order.
• Prepare the vehicle or component.
• Search for information in the system.
• Perform maintenance.
• Clean the work area and return used tools.
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished.
• Propose solutions.
• Follow up on established improvement plans.

EDUCATION

• High school, preparatory or technical degree completed.
