AutoZone de México seeks a senior Lead Developer to direct a team of developers, oversee daily tech operations, and ensure code standards and timelines. You will mentor staff, refine processes, and push AI-enabled improvements in pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software development, strong GCP experience, and a track record in building scalable data pipelines. On-site role at Chihuahua offices with cross-functional collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment or systems.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure (on premises | GCP).

• Monitor metrics, scrum boards and Jenkins Job healthiness.
• Create automated workflows, such as generating Jira tickets for troubleshooting and managing MLOps pipelines.
• Translate abstract business problems into concrete AI solutions, delivering value.

Leads and supports a team of Developers, overseeing day-to-day technical operations, maintenance, or projects to ensure code development standards and timelines are met. They are responsible for training staff, developing technical processes, ensuring compliance with technical good practices, coaching more Junior Developers to increase the programming knowledge of the entire team and it is preferable to have had exposure to AI Technologies in order to be able to improve processes with the use of AI Technologies specially improving Pipelines with AI Tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment or systems.
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure (on premises |GCP) that convert raw data into actionable information.
• Supervise, train, and mentor technicians, including conducting performance reviews and assigning daily tasks.
• Monitor and follow up metrics, scrum boards and Jenkins Jobs healthiness.
• Creating automated workflows, such as generating Jira tickets for troubleshooting and managing MLOps pipeline.
• Translating abstract business problems into concrete AI solutions, ensuring AI initiatives are practical and deliver value.

Level of formal education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
