Job description

We are looking for a passionate Technical Project Manager focused on healthcare innovation and specializing in software medical devices, eager to drive innovation in digital health.

This role involves leading the development and implementation of transformative healthcare technology projects from conception to delivery. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between commercial and technical teams, translating customer needs into actionable specifications, ensuring our solutions meet high standards required by our health sector partners and their patients, while staying within budget and regulatory requirements.

A significant part of your daily responsibilities will include ensuring clients understand the technical processes and integration of our product into their systems via APIs, emphasizing the importance of technical expertise combined with regulatory knowledge for seamless integration.

• Note on collaboration and roles: You'll work alongside a Deal Owner, who leads the commercial relationship, and a Customer Success Manager, responsible for post-sale client engagement and support.
  

This setup allows you to focus on implementation, delivery, execution, and providing technical and regulatory advisory to the customer—without managing the client relationship end-to-end.

What you need to achieve

• Project planning and execution: Develop and track detailed project plans, manage scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring successful delivery within constraints.
• Daily customer interaction: Guide clients through technical processes, ensuring understanding of functionality and API integration.
• Team liaison: Act as the link between commercial and product teams, translating customer needs into technical specifications.
• Technical and regulatory advisory: Support customers in understanding use cases, technical integration, regulatory feasibility, and data protection issues.
• Requirements analysis: Assess project needs to align with product objectives and customer expectations.
• Healthcare process understanding: Provide a comprehensive view to support effective solution development.
• Product documentation: Define development requirements and ensure accurate documentation.
• Product strategy: Contribute to defining and adjusting product strategy for market relevance.

Must have

• Proven experience in project management, especially in software medical devices within health, biotech, or digital health sectors.
• Knowledge of AI applied to health and experience in dermatology or related fields.
• Technical proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, or Python.
• Understanding of medical device regulation and compliance frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Knowledge of healthcare systems and standards (HIS/EHR/EMR, FHIR, HL7v2).
• Deep understanding of the health industry, including B2B dynamics and regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with technical teams, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
• Leadership experience in managing multifunctional teams.
• Degree in Business Administration, Health Management, Biotechnology, or related.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly valued.

Additional information

Full-remote position. You can work from anywhere, and all communication will be on Slack or Hangouts.
We offer flexible compensation, vacation, and working hours, with a full-time contract. Starting as soon as possible. Competitive salary based on experience.

Languages: High proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and writing). Additional languages are a plus.
