What you’ll do:
- Summary: The Learning Tech & Process Optimization team is seeking a Technical Product Manager to assist the Learning organization in streamlining the technical learning landscape. This role will also enhance data-driven decision-making and support strategic initiatives by optimizing our technology stack.
- The Role: As a Technical Product Manager for Learning, you will collaborate with learning leaders and colleagues from Learning Business Partners, Learning Portfolio Management, and Learning Content & Delivery teams to streamline the technical landscape, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and alignment with business needs.
- Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining learning requirements and user stories, decomposing and refining them into epic-level work products for use by IT colleagues.
- Creating release notes and performing change management activities as new capabilities are deployed.
- Ensuring deliveries incorporate usability studies, research, user and customer feedback, and market analysis to improve user satisfaction.
- Defining and analyzing metrics to measure product success.
- Understanding SAP SuccessFactors Learning capabilities.
- Developing and executing structured sunset plans, engaging with business leaders and platform stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to alternative solutions.
What you bring: You will work closely with various learning stakeholders to align on technology requirements. Fluency in written and spoken English, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prepare, maintain, and present recommendations to the Learning Leadership team are essential.
Additional qualifications include:
- 4+ years of experience in an agile development environment (e.g., Product Manager, Business Analyst, Scrum Master, Software Engineer).
- A technical background (education or previous positions), such as a BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience managing learning systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors Learning).
- Experience developing enterprise-grade SaaS products, technologies, or platforms.
