Your role would be to help Cisco Supply Chain to unlock the full power of digitization. As we are subject to a constant change deploying processes, policies and technologies to help us to be successful, and we need skilled individuals like you to join to our journey.

You will belong to a Regional Supply Chain Operations team accountable of guiding and leading our manufacturing partners to meet our customers’ expectations as well as helping Cisco to create, implement and adopt new processes, platforms and technologies that enables better customer experience.

The Technical Operations Manager the primary technical interface to the Manufacturing Partner site and is accountable for driving both Operational Excellence (Delivery, Quality, and Cost) and Factory Excellence (capability, efficiency, security and sustainability). This position leads a team of Engineers in one or several of the following fields: Test/Software Development, Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing, to drive product quality in the factory. Position requires strong knowledge on Test infrastructure, PCBA manufacturing operations, and SMT technology roadmap. This leadership position works with the Director of Regional Operations.

Your impact

•Responsible for leading manufacturing execution excellence and customer experience through operational performance on delivery, quality, cost and transformation.

•Ensure the EMS Partners sites have the outstanding Quality Management System (QMS) deployed throughout their operation.

•Lead operational excellence metrics ETE Yield, timely Delivery, CT2R, NMS budget, etc. and accountable for associated business results.

•Accountable to solve any factory related quality issues and to handle line alert and line stop situation.

•Drive cycle time reduction, test optimizations, and quality improvement to meet and improve cost and product lead time.

•Support the enablement of new manufacturing nodes from the manufacturing and test perspective.

•Partners with various cross-functional organizations including Product Operations, Supplier Management, Planning, Fulfillment, Technology and Quality to drive business outcomes.

•Drive qualification of SMT lines for next gen PCBA technologies, BGA, edge bonding, large press fit connectors, and process characterizations.

•Builds strong organization with leadership bench strength, capabilities for the future, engagement.

•Focus on Supply Chain innovation through process, tools and test reengineering and implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

•15+ years of broad Supply Chain Electronics Technical Operations experience in Test Development Engineering or Manufacturing Process experience. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field required.

•3+ years of personnel management experience, leadership role in Supply Chain and Team Development.

•Strong knowledge and experience in Functional Test and/or PCBA SMT operations and factory management. Develop solutions to complex problems and implement short / long term technical strategies.

•Extensive Project Management knowledge with ability to influence to all levels and build trust to achieve a shared vision and drive accountability.

•English and Spanish language proficient

Preferred Qualifications

•Programming knowledge, Python, SQL, Impala, and understanding of Design For Test (DFT).

•Demonstrated Statistical Analysis knowledge.

•Ability to self-motivate with a strong desire to learn and ability to be flexible.

•Strong leadership and communication to collaborate and connect people

•Master of Science in Business a plus.

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees haveaccess to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings.

Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days ofvacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Offpolicy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours ofunused sick timewill be carried forwardfrom one calendar yearto the nextsuch that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
