Job Summary: We’re hiring for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) with a strong background in AWS cloud technologies. As part of the TAM team, you’ll provide guidance to both new and existing customers specifically about AWS technologies, services, and offerings. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other Rackspace teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions utilizing various public cloud services. Ultimately, you’ll be assisting customers in rethinking their technical platforms and application landscapes, promoting the adoption of cloud-native technologies, and driving innovation within their business.

Work Location: If located in Mexico City, we prefer a hybrid schedule of two days in the office and three days remote. If in Aquascalientes, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Puebla, or Queretaro, you may work fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct implementation calls.
2. Present written and verbal proposals and grow the installed base.
3. Understand invoicing, contracts, proposals, and renewals.
4. Escalate with guidance and receive escalations.
5. Identify issues, understand their causes, and determine appropriate solutions.
6. Assess deficiencies in existing customer configurations and forecast potential issues from planned modifications.
7. Describe the effectiveness of each option and highlight key differences between recommendations.
8. Act as the primary technical advocate for the customer.
9. Collaborate with Rackspace cloud engineers, CSM, and other stakeholders to translate business and technical objectives into Rackspace solutions.
10. Provide impartial advocacy, ongoing support, and assistance for workloads.
11. Introduce innovative technologies and products to the customer.
12. Ensure AWS cloud efficiency and operational excellence, providing value-added insights in a hands-off manner.

Qualifications:

1. 6+ years of relevant experience.
2. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar AWS certification preferred.
3. Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, verbal and written.
4. Deep technical knowledge of AWS technologies, services, and offerings.
5. Ability to conduct AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews and proactive workloads.
6. Ability to scale customer configurations.
7. Proficiency with account management tools.
8. Ability to drive the technical strategy for cloud-native transformation.
9. Strong understanding of configuration build processes.
