Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in Mexico City is seeking a detailed accountant to support journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with Local GAAP. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables and compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities include leading accounting activities, preparing entries, supporting month-end close, and producing reports from accounting data.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in general accounting with 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) under Local GAAP.
• Experience performing balance sheet reconciliations, including tax, inventory, and COGS accounts.
• Experience in multinational environments, monthly/annual close, and HQ reporting.
• Experience with tax compliance and reporting per local regulations.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits with documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead general accounting activities in one or more accounting systems.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support month-end close activities and related reconciliations.
• Provide financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing standard reports.
• Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
• Support review of external and intercompany billing information for Local GAAP compliance.
• Assist in processing intercompany transactions in Oracle.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
• Execute and help lead month-end close.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders on routine accounting matters, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Support compliance with local governmental rules and audits.
