Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an Accountant to support journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with Local GAAP. The role involves coordinating month-end close, intercompany activities, and government reporting with internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting and about 3 years of related experience, with strong Excel skills and experience in Oracle.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in general accounting with 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in financial statements per local GAAP.
• Experience in balance sheet reconciliations for tax, inventory, and COGS.
• Experience in multinational environments with monthly/annual close reporting to HQ.
• Experience in tax compliance and reporting per local regulations.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits with documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead general accounting activities in one or more systems.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support month-end close processes and related reconciliations.
• Provide financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in intercompany billing and processing in Oracle.
• Prepare and reconcile journal entries and balance sheets as assigned.
• Support preparation of financial results for management and supplemental reports.
• Respond to government inquiries and assist auditors as needed.
• Register and control foreign trade and related-party transactions for review.
