If you're excited about setting a high bar, building great teams, and shaping how an organization scales through talent — this role is for you.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of People, The Talent Acquisition, Culture & Organizational Development Manager owns Birdman's strategic people agenda, with a clear mandate to build and sustain an exceptional team through outstanding talent acquisition. This role is responsible not only for bringing in the right people, but also for building and shaping the systems, environment, ways of working, and people practices that allow them to thrive, grow, and perform at their best within the company.

Beyond hiring, this position leads talent management and organizational development efforts, ensuring that clear expectations, meaningful development paths, and strong leadership support are in place as the company scales. Central to this role is the design and stewardship of a truly meritocratic system—one where high standards are clear, strong performance is recognized and rewarded, continuous improvement is expected, and people are given honest feedback to grow.

Within this context, the role actively champions a high-performance, happy-people culture, where ambition, accountability, learning, and wellbeing reinforce each other, and where the best people are able to excel, progress, and make an outsized impact—while ensuring that those who are not the right fit are supported in making thoughtful transitions, in a fair and respectful way.

By aligning people strategy, culture, and enabling systems with Birdman's business priorities, this role helps turn great talent into lasting impact and organizational excellence.

  • Foster a learning culture focused on real capability building and business impact.

  • Tie performance, feedback, and results directly to growth, progression, and career development.
  • Enable leaders to give timely, honest, and high-quality feedback that drives accountability, learning, and advancement.
  • Ensure strong performance is recognized and rewarded, and underperformance is addressed constructively and respectfully.

  • Create listening mechanisms and feedback loops that inform continuous improvement of the employee experience.
  • Ensure culture is consistently reinforced through leadership behaviors, rituals, and everyday ways of working.
