Formación

• Knowledge equivalent to eight hours of college chemistry preferred.

Job Duties

Under direct supervision, performs assigned duties within the chemical hygiene plan and the current HSE laboratory safety standards. Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties. Conducts routine laboratory tests according to procedures, selecting appropriate test equipment and instrumentation. May build prototypes, models, and special equipment, or perform basic material or environmental tests using electrical/electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment, including setup, calibration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and data collection. Operates laboratory or other equipment such as pumps and rig equipment as required. Documents test data for reporting purposes and maintains related files and records. Job tasks impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations indirectly. Errors are easily measurable and confined. Typically requires knowledge equivalent to eight hours of college chemistry (preferred) and two years of related laboratory testing experience.
