Job Description

Job Duties
  1. Under direct supervision, trains and gains familiarity with the chemical hygiene plan and current HSE laboratory safety standards.
  2. Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing duties.
  3. Applies theories, principles, and practices to research and development of new and improved products, processes, and procedures.
  4. Performs routine research and experimentation under the guidance of Scientific Leader, Scientific Advisor, and Team Leaders.
  5. Documents progress in laboratory notebooks, reports, procedures, and designs.
  6. Communicates occasionally with technical client personnel.
  7. Responds to customer needs as directed by Scientific Leader, Scientific Advisor, and Team Leaders.
  8. Participates in professional societies.
  9. Performs job tasks correctly, impacting cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations indirectly.
  10. Recognizes that errors are easily measured and confined.

Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
