Job Duties

1. Under direct supervision, trains and gains familiarity with the chemical hygiene plan and current HSE laboratory safety standards.
2. Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties.
3. Applies theories, principles, and practices to the research and development of new and improved products, processes, and procedures.
4. Performs routine research and experimentation under the guidance of Scientific Leaders, Scientific Advisors, and Team Leaders.
5. Documents progress in laboratory notebooks, reports, procedures, and designs.
6. Communicates occasionally with technical client personnel.
7. Responds to customer needs as directed by Scientific Leaders, Scientific Advisors, and Team Leaders.
8. Participates in professional societies.
9. Job tasks, when correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations. The consequences of errors are easily measured and confined.
10. Requires a completed undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
