Audible is seeking a System Development Engineer to join a growing team, focusing on automating, deploying, and supporting AWS infrastructure while working with Linux environments. You will contribute to coding efforts in Java and AWS, deploy software in staging and production, and develop tools to improve operations and maintenance.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Support and Engineering, with a focus on security, privacy, and scalable systems.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience automating, deploying, and supporting AWS infrastructure.
• 1+ years of experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with pipeline automation.
• Experience with large scale projects.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Infrastructure support, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services.
• Work on coding projects primarily in Java and AWS technologies.
• Provide Software deployment support in staging and production environments.
• Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance.
• Provide System and Support status reporting.
• Own one or more technical components.
• Improve Audible's infrastructure, operational performance, and stability.
• Participate in designs, code and procedures reviews.
• Identify opportunities arising from technical discussions and do the technical trade-offs.
• Troubleshoot, research root causes and thoroughly resolve defects.
• Drive company wide campaigns with Support and Engineering teams.
• Deliver technology that addresses compliance, security and privacy risks.
• Drive large scale technology projects.
• Drive pipeline automation and CI/CD

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of experience in automating, deploying, and supporting AWS infrastructure
• 1+ years of experience with Linux/Unix
