Audible is seeking a Senior System Development Engineer to join our growing team. You will be a technical lead for services, drive infrastructure improvements, and mentor colleagues while delivering reliable platforms that power millions of listeners worldwide.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring teammates.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Java and Python with AWS experience.

Responsabilidades

• Be a technical lead on the team and act as a subject matter expert for one or more services.
• Lead Infrastructure support, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services.
• Lead coding projects primarily in Java, Python and AWS technologies.
• Lead software deployment support in staging non-production and production environments.
• Lead the development of tools to aid operations and maintenance.
• Lead system and support status reporting.
• Lead large, cross-functional team projects and resolve complex system issues.
• Understand the business impact of system development decisions.

• Be a technical lead on the team and act as a subject matter expert for one or more services
• Lead Infrastructure support, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services
• Lead coding projects primarily in Java, Python and AWS technologies
• Lead software deployment support in staging non-production and production environments
• Lead the development of tools to aid operations and maintenance
• Lead system and support status reporting
• Lead large, cross-functional team projects and resolve complex system issues
• Understand the business impact of system development decisions
• Lead design, code, and procedure review discussions
• Lead discussions related to improving Audible’s infrastructure, operational performance, and stability
• Play a significant role in hiring, mentoring, and training employees
• Demonstrate excellent judgment when making decisions
• Lead pipeline automation and drive it to closure
