Audible is seeking a Senior System Development Engineer to join a growing team. You will be a technical lead, guiding infrastructure troubleshooting and deployment across services, with coding projects in Java, Python, and AWS.

You will develop tools for operations and lead cross-functional initiatives. The role emphasizes leadership in design reviews, performance improvements, and mentoring, with responsibilities across production and non-production environments.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience managing data pipelines.

• Lead infrastructure support and troubleshooting across products and services.

As a Senior System Development Engineer, you will

• Be a technical lead on the team and act as a subject matter expert for one or more services
• Lead Infrastructure support, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services
• Lead coding projects primarily in Java, Python and AWS technologies
• Lead software deployment support in staging non-production and production environments
• Lead the development of tools to aid operations and maintenance
• Lead system and support status reporting
• Lead large, cross-functional team projects and resolve complex system issues
• Understand the business impact of system development decisions
• Lead design, code, and procedure review discussions
• Lead discussions related to improving Audible’s infrastructure, operational performance, and stability
• Play a significant role in hiring, mentoring, and training employees
• Demonstrate excellent judgment when making decisions
• Lead pipeline automation and drive it to closure
