Carrier Global Corporation is hiring a Sustaining Test Engineer to support manufacturing operations on production test systems, vision systems, and programming equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform advanced troubleshooting, and drive improvements to fixtures and processes on a fast-paced shop floor.

Required are a technical bachelor's degree and 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing, plus experience with PXI/VXI and ICT platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical engineering required.
• 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing / high-volume environments.
• Intermediate English to read technical documents.
• Experience troubleshooting and escalating production/test issues.
• Knowledge of Functional Test systems (PXI/VXI).
• Experience with ICT platforms (Genrad, Teradyne, Digital Test).
• Familiarity with Data I/O programming equipment and programming processes.
• Ability to read schematics, electrical and logical diagrams.
• Understanding of test equipment architecture and manufacturing test processes.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first-level troubleshooting for production test issues.
• Diagnose hardware and software failures on test equipment.
• Review, repair, and improve test fixtures.
• Analyze failure logs and test data to identify root causes.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on test systems and programming equipment.
• Analyze test sequences and optimize testing processes.
• Design and implement improvements to test fixtures and equipment.
• Collaborate with Contract Manufacturing to resolve escalated issues.
