Carrier Global Corporation in Mexico is seeking a Sustaining Test Engineer to provide shop floor support for production test systems, vision systems, and programming equipment, driving rapid problem resolution to minimize downtime in a high‑volume operation.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing, a bachelor’s in electronics/electrical or mechatronics, and experience with PXI/VXI and ICT test platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing or high-volume environments.
• Intermediate English to read technical docs.
• Experience troubleshooting production/test issues and escalation.
• Familiarity with Functional Test systems such as PXI/VXI; ICT platforms like Genrad/Teradyne.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first-level troubleshooting for production test issues.
• Diagnose hardware and software failures on test equipment.
• Repair and improve ICT fixtures and related test equipment.
• Analyze failure logs and test results to identify root causes.
• Support optimization of testing processes.
• Collaborate with Contract Manufacturing teams to resolve escalated issues.
