Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Sustainability Specialist to drive the plant’s ESG strategy. You will conduct risk analyses, prepare site sustainability reports, and design ESG initiatives across operations. The role requires strong English skills and a passion for sustainable development.

The ideal candidate will lead training on ESG culture, build partnerships with institutions, and contribute to decarbonization and ESG governance across the site in Puebla, Mexico.

Formación

• Degree in Sustainable Development Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Knowledge of ESG methodology and sustainability risk/impact analysis.

Drive the plant’s sustainability strategy, aligning it with the 10 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) action areas, with a special focus on decarbonization.

• Conduct risk analysis and site sustainability reporting using methodologies such as GRI, SASB, and ESG standards.
• Raise awareness and provide training on ESG culture.
• Design ESG strategies.
• Ability to build relationships with institutions and companies to develop partnerships and strategies.

Experience, knowledge and skills

• Degree in Sustainable Development Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English.
• Knowledge in the field of sustainability according to the ESG methodology.
• Knowledge of sustainability risk and opportunity analysis(CSR, carbon footprint, water footprint, etc.).
• Teamwork and leadership.
• Data analysis and attention to detail.
• Risk-based and process-oriented thinking.
