Flex is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus, reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct. The role directs planning, development, and maintenance of supply chain processes for both new and existing products, with heavy emphasis on strategic collaboration with vendors and customers.

The candidate will lead senior teams, manage budgets, and drive cost efficiency while providing reports using multiple tools.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Interaction with internal and external suppliers (fluent communication).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of materials, supply chain, price negotiation, and NPIs.
• Experience in manufacturing (Engineering).
• Negotiation skills for sourcing/quoting materials.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Strategic Supply Chain Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct, this role will be in charge of directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management. In charge of managing and overseeing the methods and processes in hold up of both new and existing products. Customer face and strategic. He role involves responsibilities for Ensuring reports are created using a variety of tools and methods.

What a typical day looks like:

• Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.
• Checks materials related to data research.
• Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and goals.
• Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and oversees planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers and vendors.
• Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial drive.
• Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:
