Job summary

Flex seeks a Strategic Supply Chain Manager in Guadalajara, North Campus, to lead planning, development, and execution of supply chain processes. You will oversee metrics, contracts, and supplier relationships to meet product goals and cost targets.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct, the role requires manufacturing experience, English fluency, and strong negotiation skills. You will collaborate with executives, vendors, and internal teams to drive strategic initiatives and cost

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with internal and external suppliers.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of materials, supply chain, price negotiation, and NPIs.
• Experience in manufacturing (Engineering).
• Negotiation skills for sourcing/quoting materials.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor and customer contracts and outline requirements.
• Check materials related to data research.
• Support strategic planning with senior managers.
• Direct activities of supply chain staff, budgeting and costs.
• Interact with executives, customers and vendors.
• Drive supply chain strategies to meet customer needs and Flex's financial goals.
• Provide supplier management for product development and integration.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Strategic Supply Chain Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct, this role will be in charge of directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management. In charge of managing and overseeing the methods and processes in hold up of both new and existing products. Customer face and strategic. He role involves responsibilities for Ensuring reports are created using a variety of tools and methods.

What a typical day looks like:

• Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.
• Checks materials related to data research.
• Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and goals.
• Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and oversees planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers and vendors.
• Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex’s financial drive.
• Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:
