Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Sr. Solution Engineer will lead a team of data engineers, database developers, and data analysts to develop best-in-class analytic and dashboard solutions for supply chain performance managers, decision makers, specialists, and frontline personnel. In addition to leading a development team, the Sr. Solution Engineer will participate in technical development. The Supply Chain Analytics team strives to deliver world-class analytic solutions that drive supply chain productivity and efficiency.

Your Impact

As SC Plng Sr Analyst your responsibilities would consist of

Own end-to-end analytic solutions, Data Models, ETL Design and Code, Documentation, and Front End (Tableau, PowerBI Dashboards). Lead team to deliver across these areas, ensuring accurate, reliable, scalable, and performant analytic solutions using on-premises and Azure cloud technology.

Lead projects in an Agile approach, using Azure DevOps to organize.

Host and drive various venues, including PI planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, and retrospectives.

Partner with IT and data subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess each project's data requirements and limitations of available data. Identify paths to resolution or alternative options and incorporate them into the project.

Lead the support agenda for analytics tools, including SPA box monitoring, response and communications to users, prioritization, and utilization and management of the DevOps support board.
In addition to leading the team to deliver results, develop data pipelines (using Python and SQL), create dashboards (using Tableau, Power BI, or Web Applications), and explore and validate data.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Partner closely with End users and Stakeholders from both the Field and HQ to understand business and analytics needs, gather requirements, and iterate on potential designs for analytic solutions.

Collaborate with, consult, and inform various stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment throughout the sprint and product lifecycle.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead junior team members and direct reports through coaching, exposure to challenges, and training.

Identify strengths and opportunities for direct reports and develop an action plan to guide their growth and development.

Ensure support analysts are trained and capable. As time permits, provide opportunities for support analysts to participate as data engineers or visualization developers within various projects.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Fluent in English, advanced in both written and verbal communication

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business systems or information technology

2+ years of experience in translating business requirements into end-to-end solution designs, data models, data processes, and front-end visualizations.

Advanced SQL, data modeling, and data engineering (ETL) skills. Experience utilizing various data sources, technologies, and ETL patterns to deliver solutions.

Familiarity with the Python programming language is required.

Familiarity with supply chain or logistics analytics is a plus.

Familiarity with Azure Databricks, PySpark, or Azure Data Factory.

Familiarity with web development and other programming languages is a plus
