Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking a Planner II to maximize service levels while minimizing inventory in our manufacturing operations. The role involves planning production, expediting materials, and maintaining updated schedules to support the manufacturing process.

Strong communication with customers and suppliers is essential, along with basic ERP/SAP usage. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, a degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Logistics, or related field, and intermediate English

Qualifications

Requires a degree in engineering, business, commerce, logistics or related field.
ERP/SAP proficiency is desirable and beneficial for the role.
Demonstrates ability to liaise with customers and suppliers and manage production scheduling.

Responsibilities

Liaise with customers and suppliers.
Plan production and materials based on customer requirements, using established procedures.
Communicate forecasts to suppliers and service providers to ensure service levels.
Keep systems updated with customer/supplier information and analyze variances.
Maintain defined operational metrics and provide data for decision-making.
Negotiate delivery dates with customers based on supplier lead times.
Review special shipment plans and scheduling with production team.
Anticipate product purchases if a system anomaly is detected.
