This role focuses on short, medium, and long-term supply planning, capacity management, and cross-functional leadership to optimize costs and enhance customer satisfaction. Formación

  • Minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience, including supply planning and demand planning.

The Supply Chain Planning Manager

Focuses on short, medium, and long-term supply and capacity planning. Responsible for developing and implementing supply and capacity processes and action plans to ensure that capacity and supply are available on time, utilized effectively, while optimizing costs and maximizing internal and external customer satisfaction.

The position identifies areas to increase business understanding and proactively generates and drives action plans to manage the full cycle of problem solving, including identifying opportunities through systemic techniques and implementing end-to-end solutions to achieve improvements and efficiency gains.

The role requires a dynamic and self-motivated team member. Demonstrates excellent cross-functional leadership, success in influencing a broad spectrum of stakeholders, and detailed knowledge of supply and capacity planning across the manufacturing footprint. Must be able to drive transformation across all aspects of the supply chain.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Define factory run rates, inventory levels, and capacity allocations. Monitor factory execution and deviations from plan.
  2. Ensure accurate master data is used to generate supply plans, align capacities, and resolve gaps.
  3. Generate long-term capacity plans and supply responses to support customer-specific long-term plans.
  4. Manage companywide MRP policy and production risk process. Benchmark, maintain, and monitor adherence to policies and systems.
  5. Prepare analysis and recommendations to transfer products to optimize supply and capacity.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience with developing and using capacity models in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience, including supply planning, demand planning, data analytics, and manufacturing planning.
  • Financial analysis experience related to new business opportunities.
  • Experience with S&OP, S&OE, JIT, MRP, lean manufacturing, and systems like kanban.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Expectations of the Role:
  • Develop Supply Chain Dashboard with existing and updated KPIs.
  • Improve planning processes.
  • Implement S&OP processes.
  • Enhance capacity planning and production plan follow-up.
  • Ensure proper AX Planning configuration.
  • Maintain WIP aging, OD, OTD, inventory turns, and other KPIs.
